In these workshops, participants explored various pottery techniques using earthenware clay. They learned to use the pottery wheel to throw pots and created hand-built pinch pots. Monoprinting was introduced to make surface impressions in the clay. Additionally, they practiced sgraffito using terracotta clay—moulding pots, applying slip, and carving decorative patterns into the surface. Participants were also introduced to glazing, learning about different types of glazes, their uses, and the appropriate stages for application. Finished pieces were glazed and fired in the kiln to complete the process.
